Introducing... askLAX!
Recently, the City of Los Angeles was named America’s top digital city by the Center for Digital Government in the 2016 Digital Cities Survey. In an effort to stay at the forefront of technology, Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) has integrated the LAX Terminal Locations, Flight Status and Road Closures in and around LAX with Alexa, a digital assistant developed by Amazon.com and made popular by the Amazon Echo device. The "Ask Alexa" integration is the beginning of a new channel for passengers, employees and all the do business with LAX to receive information from Los Angeles International Airport.
Currently, Amazon Echo, Amazon Dot, or any other Alexa enabled device can use Alexa to "Ask LAX" about terminal locations, flight status and road closures. Many more features and information will be coming in the near future.
