-- TRAFFIC ADVISORY -- LAX ANNOUNCES LANE CLOSURES OF SOUTHBOUND SEPULVEDA TUNNEL

(Los Angeles, California November 3, 2009) The California Department of Transportation notified Los AngelesInternationalAirport (LAX) of its lane closures due to storm drain maintenance on the southbound side of the Sepulveda Tunnel.  The closure will affect two lanes between Century Boulevard and Imperial Highwaybeginning at 11:00 p.m. November 3 to 5 a.m. November 4.

LA/ONTARIO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT TO OFFER NEW DAILY NONSTOP SERVICE TO DENVER AND CHICAGO ON SOUTHWEST AIRLINES

Ontario, California (October 28, 2009) -- Travelers using LA/Ontario International Airport (ONT) will now have the option of flying nonstop on Southwest Airlines from Ontario, California to Denver, Colorado for as low as $79 one-way effective March 14, 2010.

CONTRACTS TOTALING $1.26 BILLION APPROVED FOR BRADLEY WEST PROJECT
  (Los Angeles, California – October 19, 2009)  The Los Angeles Board of Airport Commissioners today took a significant step towards the modernization of Los AngelesInternationalAirport (LAX) by awarding two contracts totaling $1.26 billion to reconfigure the Tom Bradley International Terminal (TBIT).  The Bradley West Project, as it is known, is considered to be the biggest public works project in the City’s history and is expected to create 4,000 construction-related jobs during the four-year project schedule.

PARTIAL CLOSURE OF WESTBOUND IMPERIAL HIGHWAY NEAR LAX ANNOUNCED OCTOBER 17 TO 21
The California Film Commission and the California Department of Transportation have notified Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) operations of intermittent road closures on westbound Imperial Highway beginning Saturday, October 17, 2009.  The road closures will extend until Wednesday, October 21.
